Who might be able to join this trial:
For people with cancer:
- Adults aged 18 or over
- People diagnosed with breast, gynaecological, colorectal, or lung cancer who are due to undergo one or more cancer treatments (such as chemotherapy, surgery, hormone therapy, radiotherapy, or targeted therapy)
- People who are able to understand and follow the requirements of the study
- People who agree to give verbal consent to take part
- People who are enrolled in the French Social Security system
For healthy volunteers:
- Adults aged 18 or over
- People who have not taken any medications in the 7 days before joining, particularly no painkillers — or whose medications the trial site considers compatible with the study
- People with no history of cancer
- People considered to be in good health by the trial site
- People who are able to understand and follow the requirements of the study
- People who agree to give verbal consent to take part
- People who are enrolled in the French Social Security system
Who may not be able to join:
For people with cancer:
- People who have had a previous cancer diagnosis or received previous cancer treatments (such as surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, hormone therapy, or targeted therapy)
- People with a history of, or current, primary brain tumours (such as glioblastoma, meningioma, or neurofibroma)
- People with a history of neurological conditions (such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, epilepsy, or moderate to severe head injury)
- People whose medical or surgical history the trial site considers incompatible with the study
- People who are unable to fully understand or follow the study requirements
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People who are under a legal protection order
For healthy volunteers:
- People whose medical or surgical history the trial site considers incompatible with the study
- People who are unable to fully understand or follow the study requirements
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People currently taking part in another clinical trial, within a post-trial exclusion period, or who have received more than €4,500 in trial compensation over the past 12 months
