Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with colorectal cancer that has a specific genetic feature called dMMR and/or MSI-H, and you have had surgery to remove the tumor
- Your cancer has been confirmed by a pathologist as Stage II (specifically T3 or T4, with no spread to lymph nodes), AND you have at least one of the following: the tumor has grown through the outer wall of the colon (T4), cancer has spread into nearby blood vessels, cancer has grown into nearby nerves, the cancer cells look very abnormal or are a specific type (mucinous or signet-ring), or your bowel was blocked or had a tear before surgery
- Scans done around the time of surgery (CT, MRI, or PET-CT) showed no signs that the cancer has spread to other parts of the body
- You are in good general health, able to carry out everyday activities with little or no limitation (confirm with trial site regarding specific fitness scoring)
- You are between 18 and 80 years old
- You have not previously received chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, or radiation therapy for this cancer
- Your liver, kidneys, and other organs are functioning well enough to receive treatment (confirm with trial site for specific test requirements)
Who may not be able to join:
- You have an active autoimmune disease (where your immune system attacks your own body) that has needed medical treatment in the last 2 years
- The surgeon was unable to remove all of the cancer during your operation, meaning some cancer cells were left behind at the edges of the removed tissue
- You have complications after surgery that may make it unsafe to start treatment
- You currently have an active infection that requires medical treatment
- You have been diagnosed with another cancer in the last 5 years, unless it was a minor skin cancer, a very early-stage cancer that was fully removed, or a cancer with a very low chance of coming back
