Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are willing and able to give written consent to participate
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People who have no history of cancer outside of the pancreas
- People who did not have a bile duct drainage procedure before surgery
- People who have confirmed pancreatic cancer (PDAC) based on tissue removed during surgery
- People who survived at least three months after surgery and have been followed up for at least six months
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose tissue samples from surgery cannot be reviewed again by the research team
- People whose MRI scan results are not usable — for example, due to problems with the scan data, difficulty holding their breath during the scan, pain that made the scan impossible to complete, or equipment issues during the scan
- People whose tumour measured less than 1.0 cm (about the size of a small pea)
- People who withdrew from or dropped out of follow-up care after joining
