Who might be able to join this trial:

• People aged 18 or older (both men and women)

• People whose Parkinson's disease medication has changed or been unstable in the last two weeks
• People with Parkinson's disease who have a deep brain stimulation (DBS) device
• People who have another neurological degenerative condition, such as multiple system atrophy or Huntington's disease
• People who have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder
• People who have used certain medications — including SSRIs, SNRIs, benzodiazepines, or beta-blockers — in the last four weeks
• People who have a history of using MAO inhibitor medications
• People who have a history of alcohol or substance abuse
• People who have experienced acute (sudden or severe) stress in the last three months
• People who have a history of suicide
• People who have a history of cardiovascular (heart or blood vessel) disease
• People who have a history of liver or kidney disorders
