Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 45 years or older.
- People whose blood test showed no abnormal protein (called monoclonal gammaglobulin) when screened using a specific laboratory method called MALDI-TOF MS.
- People who have no signs or symptoms of infection, and whose blood test results for infection markers (hs-CRP, IL-6, and PCT) are within normal range.
- People for whom enough stored blood, plasma, and stool samples are available, along with relevant medical information.
Who may not be able to join:

- People whose stored samples are not sufficient in quantity, or whose samples have been affected by problems such as significant breakdown of red blood cells, high fat content in the blood, or jaundice (confirm with trial site).
