Who might be able to join this trial:
- You must be eligible for DEERS (the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System, used for U.S. military-related healthcare)

Who may not be able to join:

- People who show signs of nerve problems in the radial or ulnar nerves (the other main nerves in the arm), based on a simple touch-sensitivity test
- People who have carpal tunnel symptoms in both hands
- People who have had previous surgery on the hand
- People who have had injections in the shoulder, neck, or arm area in the last 6 months
- People who have had an injury to the neck, shoulder, or arm in the last 6 months
- People who are currently pregnant or who have given birth within the last 6 months
- People who have already received more than one visit of care (such as an assessment or basic education) for this current episode of symptoms
