Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 or older who are willing to take part and are able to sign a consent form
- People who have been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) and whose doctor has recommended a procedure called catheter ablation to treat it
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a blood clot in the left side of their heart or in a part of the heart called the left atrial appendage

- People who are currently pregnant

- People who do not wish to take part in the study
- People whose physical or mental health makes participation in the study not possible
