Who might be able to join this trial:

  • Both the child or teenager and their parents must be willing to sign a consent form agreeing to take part
  • The young person must be between 7 and 17 years old (inclusive) when signing the consent form
  • The young person must have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes for at least 6 months when signing the consent form
  • The young person must have been using one of these specific automated insulin delivery systems for at least 3 months: Medtronic MiniMed™ 780G, Tandem t:slim X2 Control-IQ™, or Mylife Ypsopump with the CamAPS algorithm
  • The young person (and/or their parent/guardian as appropriate) must be able to understand, read, write, and speak Dutch, French, or English

Who may not be able to join:

  • The young person is younger than 7 or older than 17 years old when signing the consent form
  • The young person has been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes for less than 6 months when signing the consent form
  • The young person has been using one of the listed automated insulin delivery systems for less than 3 months when signing the consent form
  • The young person is using any other method of insulin treatment besides one of the three specific automated insulin delivery systems listed above
  • The young person (and/or their parent/guardian) is unable to understand, read, write, or speak Dutch, French, or English
