Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been newly referred to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (UIHC) Movement Disorders Clinic
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have already been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease before their referral
- People who are confined to a wheelchair or bed full-time
- People who do not speak English

Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are a patient at the UIHC Movement Disorders Clinic
- People who have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose Parkinson's disease diagnosis was made more than 6 months ago
- People who are confined to a wheelchair or bed full-time
- People who do not speak English
- People who are currently incarcerated
- People who are unable to give their own consent to participate in the trial
- People whose mobile phone cannot support the Fitbit app
