Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed by a doctor with carpal tunnel syndrome (a condition where a nerve in the wrist becomes compressed, causing hand and wrist problems).
- You are between 30 and 55 years old.
- You are female.
- You have tested positive on two specific wrist physical tests (called the Tinel test and Phalen test) that check for carpal tunnel syndrome.

Who may not be able to join:
- You have previously had surgery to treat carpal tunnel syndrome.

- You have wear-and-tear arthritis or age-related changes in the bones of your neck (confirm with trial site).
- You have thoracic outlet syndrome, a condition where nerves or blood vessels near the collarbone are compressed.
- You have diabetes.
- You have or have had diabetes related to pregnancy (gestational diabetes).
- You have a heart or blood vessel condition.
- You have high blood pressure.
- You are currently pregnant.
