Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have been diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer (adenocarcinoma type) that has spread to other parts of the body, confirmed by a biopsy or lab test.
• You have at least one tumor that can be measured on a CT scan, MRI, or PET scan.
• If you are a woman who could become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy test taken within 48 hours before starting treatment.
• If you are a woman who could become pregnant, or a man whose partner could become pregnant, you must agree to use two forms of birth control during treatment and for 6 months after treatment ends.
• You are older than 18 years of age.
• If you are 80 years or older, you will need a thorough health and wellbeing assessment before joining, and the medical team will carefully consider whether the trial is safe for you.
• You are generally healthy and able to carry out daily activities with little or no limitations (this is measured using a standard medical scale called ECOG 0–1).
• Your blood counts, liver function, and kidney function are within acceptable ranges based on blood tests.
• You are willing and able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the study.

Who may not be able to join:

• You have received chemotherapy with gemcitabine and/or nab-paclitaxel within the last six months as part of treatment before or after surgery.
• You are currently taking part in another research trial using an experimental treatment.
• You have cancer that has spread to the brain.
• You have had a serious allergic reaction to gemcitabine or nab-paclitaxel, or to similar medicines.
• You have been diagnosed with another cancer in the last 3 years (except for certain skin cancers, early-stage cervical cancer, or treated low-risk prostate cancer, which may still be allowed).
• You are currently taking certain blood pressure or heart medications called calcium channel blockers (such as amlodipine or nifedipine), unless you are able to stop taking them before joining the trial (confirm with trial site for the full list of affected medications).
• You have an active infection (bacterial, viral, or fungal) that requires ongoing treatment — though you may be reconsidered once the infection is fully treated.
• You have uncontrolled serious health conditions such as heart failure, unstable chest pain, irregular heartbeat, or a mental health or personal situation that could make it difficult to follow the study rules safely.
• You have a known lung condition such as interstitial lung disease, sarcoidosis, pulmonary fibrosis, or pneumonitis.
• You are pregnant or currently breastfeeding.
• Your cancer has not spread and could potentially be removed with surgery, or it is only located in one area (locally advanced but not spread).
• You have had major surgery within the 4 weeks before starting treatment (routine diagnostic procedures may be acceptable — confirm with trial site).
• You are unable to follow the study schedule, or you expect to need a break from treatment of 14 or more days in a row after starting.
• You are currently enrolled in any other clinical trial involving a treatment intervention.
