For people with Parkinson's Disease:
- You have an official diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease at stage 1, 2, or 3
- You are between 18 and 75 years old
- You can understand, read, write, and speak English at a basic level
- You have access to video calls (Zoom) through a laptop, iPad, or other mobile device
- You are able to arrange your own transportation to the trial site
For unpaid care partners of someone with Parkinson's Disease:
- You are an unpaid, non-professional caregiver for someone with Parkinson's Disease
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You can arrange transportation for both yourself and the person with Parkinson's Disease
- You can understand, read, write, and speak English at a basic level
- You have access to video calls (Zoom) through a laptop, iPad, or other mobile device
Who may not be able to join:
For people with Parkinson's Disease:
- Your Parkinson's Disease is at stage 4 or 5
- You are under 18 or over 75 years old
- You have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder
- You have a seizure disorder
- You have schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder
- You are currently dealing with active substance use
- You have high blood pressure that is not currently under control
- You have memory or thinking difficulties that would prevent you from learning and remembering a daily breathing and meditation routine, or following step-by-step instructions (confirm with trial site)
- You cannot understand, read, write, or speak English at a basic level
- You do not have access to video calls (Zoom) via a laptop, iPad, or mobile device
- You are unable to arrange transportation to the trial site
For care partners:
- You are a paid, professional caregiver
- You are under 18 years old, including emancipated minors
- You have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder
- You have a seizure disorder
- You have schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder
- You are currently dealing with active substance use
- You have high blood pressure that is not currently under control
- You are unable to arrange your own transportation
- You cannot understand, read, write, or speak English at a basic level
- You do not have access to video calls (Zoom) via a laptop, iPad, or mobile device
