Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have at least two unusual-looking moles (atypical nevi) that are 4mm or wider (roughly the size of a pencil eraser or larger)
- You have a documented diagnosis of melanoma (a type of skin cancer)
- You are 18 years of age or older, and if you are a woman who could become pregnant, you agree to use effective birth control while sexually active during the trial
- Your doctor has decided you are a suitable candidate to receive a type of immunotherapy treatment called anti-PD1 therapy
- You are willing and able to sign and date a written consent form before joining the trial
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a non-cancer condition or health issue that would make it unsafe for you to take anti-PD1 therapy — for example, a serious immune system condition or an active autoimmune disease (where your immune system attacks your own body) that requires medication to manage it
- You have previously received anti-PD1 therapy (this type of immunotherapy treatment) at any point
- You have or have had another active cancer that is not melanoma
- You are currently receiving any other cancer treatment
