- People who had their colon surgically removed at least 2 years ago as a preventive measure for a hereditary condition called familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) related to the APC gene, and who had a reconnection made between the small intestine and either the rectum or a pouch near the anus
- People who are registered in the French national POLYPOSE database
- People who receive regular camera examinations of both the upper and lower digestive tract at Hôpital Edouard Herriot or Hôpital de la Croix-Rousse
- People who have already had at least 2 of these follow-up camera examinations
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have taken antibiotics within the 2 months before their stool sample is collected
- People who have been taking probiotic supplements for less than 1 month
- People who are currently detained or deprived of their freedom by a court or government authority
