Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have had ongoing acid reflux or heartburn symptoms (at least twice a week) for the past 6 months or more

- People who have a narrowing of the food pipe that has required any previous treatment
- People who have a significant disorder affecting the movement of their food pipe, as shown by a specialised pressure test (confirm with trial site)
- People who have eosinophilic oesophagitis, a condition involving inflammation of the food pipe
- People who have gastroparesis, a condition where the stomach empties more slowly than normal, confirmed by a test
- People who have previously had surgery involving the stomach or food pipe, such as fundoplication, myotomy, or LINX device implantation
- People who have liver cirrhosis with swollen veins in the food pipe or stomach
