- You either have no known history of an irregular heartbeat called atrial fibrillation (AF), or you have been previously diagnosed with an occasional/intermittent form of AF but your heart was beating in a normal rhythm when you arrived at the hospital
Who may not be able to join:
- You were showing signs of atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) when you arrived at the hospital
- You are not able to or do not wish to give your consent to take part in the trial
- You have a life expectancy of less than one year
