Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who fully understand the study and are willing to sign a consent form agreeing to take part
• People aged between 18 and 75 years old
• People who have been diagnosed through a tissue biopsy with colorectal cancer (a type of bowel cancer) that cannot be surgically removed and has either spread to nearby areas, come back after treatment, or spread to other parts of the body
• People whose cancer has stopped responding to standard second-line treatment and who have at least one measurable area of cancer visible on scans
• People whose cancer has been tested and confirmed to be a specific type based on how stable certain genetic markers are (known as MSS or MSI-L), confirmed through laboratory testing of tumour tissue

• People expected to live for at least 3 more months

Who may not be able to join:

• People who are unable or unwilling to follow the study rules and procedures

• People who have previously received a type of cancer drug called a small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor for their metastatic (spread) disease
• People who have previously been treated with a drug called romidepsin
• People who have previously received immune checkpoint inhibitor treatment for their metastatic disease
• People who have a severe infection that cannot be controlled
• People who have had a heart attack, acute coronary event, or open heart bypass surgery within the 3 months before starting the trial
• People who are known to be allergic to the study drug or any of its ingredients
• People who are known to have HIV, or who have active hepatitis B or hepatitis C infection (as confirmed by specific blood test levels)
• People whom the treating doctor considers unsuitable for this trial for any other reason
