Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been diagnosed with pancreatic adenocarcinoma (a specific type of pancreatic cancer) that, based on scans (CT or MRI) and an internal ultrasound procedure, appears to be limited to the pancreas and nearby lymph nodes.
• People who have had one previous round of treatment (such as pre-surgery chemotherapy) may still be considered, provided at least 4 weeks have passed since the last dose of that treatment.
• People whose tumor can be safely reached using an internal camera and ultrasound procedure that goes through the mouth and stomach (confirm with trial site that the tumor is accessible and that taking a tissue sample is considered safe).
• People aged 18 or older at the time of agreeing to join the trial.
• People whose heart and lung function are considered normal based on a medical check-up.
• People with a partner who could become pregnant must be willing to use at least two forms of birth control (including at least one barrier method, such as a condom) for at least one month after the first day of treatment.

Who may not be able to join:

• People who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding, or people who could become pregnant and do not have a negative pregnancy test taken within 14 days of enrolling.
• People with other types of pancreatic tumors (such as neuroendocrine tumors or mucinous cystic tumors), or cancers of the nearby bile ducts, ampulla, or duodenum.
• People whose tumors are located near an airway, major blood vessel, or spinal cord, where swelling or tissue breakdown could cause dangerous complications (the enrolling doctor makes this assessment).
• People with a known history of HIV infection.
• People with a known history of, or currently active, hepatitis B or hepatitis C infection.
• People with a serious ongoing infection or other significant health condition that the enrolling doctor believes would make receiving this treatment unsafe.
• People who require 10mg or more per day of prednisone (a steroid that suppresses the immune system) for more than one week.
• People with a history of, or currently active, autoimmune disease or a condition that requires immune-suppressing medication.
• People whose cancer has spread beyond the nearby lymph nodes.
• People with active widespread inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis).
• People with active inflammatory conditions (confirm specific conditions with trial site).
• People who have previously had a surgical procedure called a gastrojejunostomy (a type of stomach bypass surgery).
