Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People aged between 35 and 50 years old
  • Both men and women are eligible
  • People who have mild to moderate neck disability, as measured by a standard scoring tool called the Neck Disability Index
  • People who have had nerve pain on one side of the neck for more than 6 months
  • People whose neck nerve pain is caused by a slipped disc at specific levels of the neck (C5-C6 or C6-C7), confirmed by an MRI scan, with mild to moderate severity
  • People with a normal body weight range for their height (BMI between 18.5 and 24.99 kg/m²)

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have other bone, joint, or muscle problems affecting the spine or arms
  • People who have other nerve-related conditions, mental health conditions, spinal cord compression, memory or thinking problems, broken bones in the spine, or a history of surgery on the spine or neck
  • People whose neck pain comes with dizziness, or with pain spreading down both arms at the same time
  • People with unstable spine conditions, a recent injury, or a problem with blood flow to the brain through the vertebral arteries
  • People with abnormal changes in the structure of the spine, brittle bones (osteoporosis), or a condition causing involuntary neck muscle contractions
  • People with inflammatory spine conditions such as ankylosing spondylitis or rheumatoid arthritis
