Who might be able to join this trial:
As a participant/client:
- People aged between 18 and 30 years old
- People who are currently enrolled as a full-time student (undergraduate, graduate, or professional program)
- People experiencing mild to moderate depression symptoms, as measured by a standard questionnaire called the Beck Depression Inventory (a score between 14 and 28)
- People who are able to understand what the study involves and agree to take part

Who may not be able to join (participants/clients only):
- People who have had thoughts of suicide in the past month, as measured by a standard assessment tool
- People who have ever made a suicide attempt at any point in their life
- People who have recently started psychotherapy within the past month
- People who show signs of early psychosis based on a self-report questionnaire, or who have been diagnosed with a psychotic disorder by a mental health professional
- People who screen positive for autism based on a self-report questionnaire, or who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder by a mental health professional
- People who take a high daily dose of a type of medication called benzodiazepines (specifically, more than 20 mg of diazepam or its equivalent per day)
- People who are not able to give free, informed, written consent to participate
- People who are not able to communicate effectively in English, as assessed during interaction with the study team
- People who, in the study team's judgment, have any other circumstances that may prevent them from completing the study requirements (confirm with trial site)
