Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who have had an arm amputated at the forearm or upper arm level, or a leg amputated at the lower leg or thigh level.
  • People aged between 18 and 65 years.
  • People whose amputation took place at least 6 months ago.

  • People with a complicated brain injury or a history of stroke.
  • People whose medical conditions make electrical nerve stimulation treatment unsafe or unsuitable (confirm with trial site).
  • People with an active serious infection or sepsis.
  • People with a history of drug addiction.
  • People with a birth-related difference in upper limb development.
  • People with differences in the development of the brain or nervous system.
