Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 or older
- People who have been diagnosed with, or are suspected of having, pancreatic adenocarcinoma (a specific type of pancreatic cancer) based on scans or confirmed by tissue testing
- People who are already scheduled (as part of their standard medical care) to have a biopsy of a cancer spread site, or to have surgery on the pancreas or a cancer spread site
- People at any stage of pancreatic cancer
- People who are planned to receive any type of treatment, such as drug therapy, surgery, or radiotherapy
- People who have not yet received any systemic (whole-body) drug treatment or advanced radiotherapy for this cancer
- People with a general health performance level rated 0, 1, or 2 on the WHO scale, meaning they are able to carry out at least some daily activities (confirm with trial site)
- People with a life expectancy of more than 3 months
- People who have provided written, informed consent before joining
- People enrolled in the French social security system, in line with French public health law
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose biopsy is being done solely to make a first-ever diagnosis of pancreatic cancer (rather than as part of ongoing care)
- People for whom no treatment for pancreatic cancer is currently planned
- People with cancer that has returned, where chemotherapy given before or after surgery was completed less than 6 months ago
- People who have already been enrolled in this same study
- People whose geographical location, social situation, or psychological circumstances would make it difficult to attend study visits and complete study procedures
