Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been clinically diagnosed with Parkinson's disease
- People who are 40 years of age or older
- People whose Parkinson's disease is at a mild to moderate stage (Hoehn and Yahr stage 3 or below — confirm with trial site if unsure what stage applies)
- People who are able to travel independently to and from test days and training sessions
- People who are expected to be able to attend at least 85% of the training sessions

- People who have another neurological condition, or another condition that affects walking and balance, such as severe arthritis
- People who are pregnant
- People who have dementia, as assessed by a standard cognitive test (Montreal Cognitive Assessment score below 18 — confirm with trial site)
- People who consume more than ten units of alcohol per week, as defined by the Danish Health Authority guidelines
- People who have heart, lung, bone and joint, metabolic, or other health conditions that would make it unsafe to take part in maximum-effort exercise testing
- People who have depression
- People who use an activity tracker during exercise
- People who are already doing high-intensity brisk walking three or more times per week
