Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have a confirmed diagnosis of one of these cancer types that cannot be surgically removed and has spread or cannot be treated locally: non-small cell lung cancer (a type called adenocarcinoma), bile duct cancer (cholangiocarcinoma), colorectal cancer, or pancreatic cancer — and whose cancer has stopped responding to standard treatments, or for whom standard treatments do not exist, were too difficult to tolerate, or were declined.
- For the lung cancer (NSCLC adenocarcinoma) group specifically: people whose cancer has progressed after certain immunotherapy and targeted treatments (where applicable), and who have had no more than 2 prior rounds of chemotherapy for advanced or spread disease.
- For the pancreatic cancer group specifically: people who have already received at least one systemic (whole-body) treatment and no more than 2 prior rounds of chemotherapy for advanced or spread disease.
- For the colorectal cancer group specifically: people whose cancer progressed after standard chemotherapy regimens and relevant targeted treatments (where applicable), with no more than 2 prior chemotherapy regimens and no more than 4 prior treatment regimens overall for advanced or spread disease.
- People who have at least one area of cancer that can be measured on scans, according to a standard measurement system called RECIST v1.1.
- People who have stored tumour tissue samples available, or who are willing to have a biopsy taken to provide a fresh tumour sample.
- People who are in acceptable general health and have satisfactory blood and laboratory test results (confirm specific thresholds with trial site).
- People who are able to become pregnant must agree to use highly effective contraception during the trial.
- People who are not currently pregnant, not planning to become pregnant, and not breastfeeding.
Who may not be able to join:
- People with a medical or psychiatric condition that would make it difficult to receive the treatment or follow the trial procedures.
- People who currently have active cancer that has spread to the brain or the lining around the brain or spinal cord.
- People who have previously had a stem cell, tissue, or solid organ transplant.
- People who have had another cancer requiring treatment within the past 2 years — with some exceptions for certain low-risk cancers such as some skin cancers, low-grade localised prostate cancer, or very early-stage cancers confined to one area (confirm with trial site).
- People who currently have an active viral, bacterial, or fungal infection.
- People who have previously received a treatment specifically targeting a protein called ADAM9.
- People who have had major surgery, certain types of radiation therapy, a live virus vaccine, systemic cancer treatment, CAR-T cell therapy, or any experimental treatment within 4 weeks before the start of the trial treatment.
