Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have recently started treatment (within 75 days of their screening visit) with intravenous (IV) ketamine or Spravato® (a nasal spray form of ketamine), prescribed by a doctor for treatment-resistant depression that has not responded to at least two different antidepressant medications, where the depression is moderate to severe and does not involve psychotic symptoms, and where baseline measurements were collected before treatment began.
- People who are scheduled to begin treatment with IV ketamine or Spravato®, prescribed by a doctor for treatment-resistant depression that has not responded to at least two different antidepressant medications, where the depression is moderate to severe and does not involve psychotic symptoms.
- Adults aged 18 or older.
- People who are willing and able to follow all study procedures and remain available for the full duration of the trial.
- People who have signed and dated a consent form before any study procedures begin.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, or any other psychotic disorder.
- People who have had an active substance use disorder (other than nicotine) within the past 12 months. (Note: other mental health conditions alongside depression may be permitted, as long as depression is the primary diagnosis — confirm with trial site.)
