Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 18 and 75 years old
- People who have been diagnosed by a doctor as having a spinal cord injury for at least 3 months
- People who have had nerve pain (a burning, shooting, or stabbing type of pain caused by nerve damage) for at least 3 months
- People whose pain is not caused by any other medical condition
Who may not be able to join:
- People with serious heart conditions, such as a narrowed aortic valve, angina, a thickened heart muscle, uncontrolled high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, or a pacemaker
- People with a brain or nervous system disease that causes gradual deterioration over time (such as Parkinson's or Alzheimer's disease)
- People who have epilepsy
- People who have previously taken anti-seizure medications
- People who have significant difficulties with memory or thinking
- People who have a nerve injury in their legs caused by damage outside the spinal cord
- People with increased pressure inside the skull or migraines that are not well controlled
- People with a skin infection in the area where the treatment would be applied
- People who have a brain lesion or who have taken medications that may lower the threshold for seizures
- People with a pacemaker or metal implants in the body (related to the type of treatment used in this trial)
- People who have previously had a seizure
- People with psychiatric conditions, not including depression or anxiety
- People with cancer
- People who are currently pregnant
