Who may be able to join
- People who are 18 years of age or older.
- People who have been diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer, where the tumour is no larger than 3 cm across and there are no more than 3 tumours.
- People whose general health and ability to carry out daily activities meets a certain standard (known as an ECOG score of 2 or less — confirm with trial site).

Who may not be able to join
Each point below is a reason the trial team may not be able to accept someone. It is not a list of requirements to meet.
- People who cannot tolerate general anaesthesia, or who do not wish to have it.
- People who have a history of severe allergic reactions.
- People who have medical reasons preventing a bronchoscopy procedure (a procedure to look inside the airways), or who do not wish to have one.
- People who have active implanted devices in the chest, or metal implants in the lung being treated.
- People with blood clotting problems that cannot be corrected, a tendency to bleed, or a very low platelet count (below 50×10⁹/L), including those who have not stopped blood-thinning or antiplatelet medications for the required time before the procedure.
- People with serious liver or kidney problems, assessed by the treating doctor as unsuitable for the trial.
- People with an active infection that cannot be effectively controlled.
- People with other serious lung conditions (such as severe interstitial pneumonia, pulmonary fibrosis, or collapsed lung), assessed by the treating doctor as unsuitable for the trial.
- People who have had a serious heart or brain event (such as a heart attack or stroke) within the past 3 months.
- People with serious heart problems, including severe heart failure, certain abnormal heart rhythms in the past 2 years, certain types of heart block, or a resting heart rate below 45 beats per minute.
- People who have taken part in another clinical trial within the past 3 months, or are currently in one.
- People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study period.
- People whom the treating doctor considers unsuitable for the trial for any other reason.
