Who might be able to join this trial:

• You are between 18 and 70 years old and are seen as an outpatient (not staying overnight in a hospital).
• You have been diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) based on a structured clinical interview.
• In your current or most recent episode of depression, you have responded to treatment (such as medication or other therapies), or your depression is currently in remission; remission must have been reached on or after May 1, 2023.
• Your depression symptoms are currently low, based on a specific symptom rating scale score (confirm with trial site).
• You are able and willing to complete self-reported questionnaires in English.
• You are willing to wear a wrist device (similar to a fitness tracker) throughout the study to track your movement and sleep patterns.

Who may not be able to join:

• You have ever been diagnosed with Bipolar I or Bipolar II disorder, schizophrenia, or schizoaffective disorder.
• You are currently considered to be at an elevated risk of suicide, as assessed by a clinician.
• You have a significant neurological condition, or a serious head injury involving prolonged loss of consciousness, a severe coma score at the time of injury, or memory loss lasting more than 24 hours, or another unstable medical condition.
• You have any other condition that, in the researcher's opinion, could interfere with your participation in the study (confirm with trial site).
• You are employed by, closely related to, or otherwise directly connected to the researcher running this study.
