Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 or older.
- People who have been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes for at least one year, as confirmed by their treating doctor.
- People whose HbA1c blood sugar level has been below 11% at some point in the last six months.
- People who are currently using intensive insulin therapy — either multiple daily injections or a closed-loop insulin pump — and do not plan to change this during the study.

- People who are actively avoiding pregnancy during the trial, including using effective contraception if sexually active and capable of becoming pregnant.

- People who own a compatible smartphone that can run the study's sensor application.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have had a diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) episode or a severe low blood sugar episode in the last six months.
- People who are currently using, or have recently used, any blood sugar-lowering medication other than insulin — within the last month for GLP-1 receptor agonists, or within the last week for other types.
- People who are currently using, or have used within the last month, high-dose steroid (glucocorticoid) medication above normal body levels.
- People with a body mass index (BMI) below 20 kg/m².
- People whose kidney filtration function (eGFR) is below 30 mL/min/1.73 m², based on a blood test taken within the last two months (confirm with trial site).
