Who may be able to join
- Adults aged 18 or older who are fluent in French
- People currently being treated with a specific type of targeted therapy (anti-ITK-ALK/ROS1) for ALK/ROS1-positive lung cancer
- People whose prescribing doctor has identified them as having complaints — with or without related thinking, memory, or mental health issues — that may be connected to their treatment
Who may not be able to join
Each point below is a reason the trial team may not be able to accept someone. It is not a list of requirements to meet.
- People who had thinking, memory, or mental health conditions before starting their current targeted therapy (unless those conditions were caused by the targeted therapy itself or other cancer treatments)
- People with brain metastases (cancer that has spread to the brain) or cancer affecting the lining of the brain that are not well controlled and require increasing or ongoing steroid treatment
- People who do not have a strong enough command of French to complete questionnaires or take part in interviews
- People with serious, worsening, or unstable health conditions that could affect the study's assessments — such as uncontrolled epilepsy, acute psychiatric or psychotic disorders, visual hallucinations, or a current severe infection
- People whose use of certain substances may affect their thinking or memory performance
- People who are deaf or blind in a way that could affect their ability to take part in tasks and assessments
- People who decline to participate or are unable to indicate their agreement to take part in the study
