Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are willing to sign a consent form before any study-related activities begin
- People who are 18 years of age or older at the time of signing consent
- People who have a confirmed diagnosis (proven through laboratory testing of tissue or cell samples) of one of the following blood cancers: multiple myeloma, diffuse large B cell lymphoma, follicular lymphoma, mantle cell lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, small lymphocytic lymphoma, or primary mediastinal B cell lymphoma — any number of previous treatments is allowed
- People who have a history of having received vaccines against common vaccine-preventable diseases in the past
- People whose treating doctor has approved them to receive CAR-T cell therapy, with the preparatory treatment (conditioning) planned to start within the next 90 days
- People whose treating doctor has approved them to receive re-vaccination against pneumococcal disease (caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae) or tetanus
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are currently using medications that suppress the immune system, or who have plans to use such medications during the study, if those medications would affect the study results
- People who have serious uncontrolled health conditions, including but not limited to an active systemic infection, poorly controlled heart failure, unstable chest pain (angina), or mental health or personal circumstances that would make it difficult to follow the study requirements or make participation inadvisable
