Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 or older
- People diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) in the chronic phase, where oral (tablet-based) treatment is an option
- People who have been diagnosed with multiple myeloma
- People for whom a stem cell transplant using their own stem cells (autologous) is considered a suitable option by their doctor
- People who are able to read, understand, and fill in a questionnaire written in French
- People with a general health/activity level rated at 2 or below on the WHO performance scale (confirm with trial site)
- People enrolled in the French social security system
- People who have been given a medical prescription for adapted physical activity (APA) by their doctor
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have had another cancer diagnosis within the past 3 years (certain exceptions may apply, such as some skin cancers, previously removed localised cancers, or stable breast or prostate cancers being managed with hormone therapy — confirm with trial site)
- People who have a medical reason that makes adapted physical activity (APA) unsuitable for them, such as heart failure, chest pain (angina), poorly controlled high blood pressure, bone metastases, or severe bone loss (osteoporosis)
- People who have nerve problems affecting their sensation or movement (such as numbness, weakness, or coordination difficulties)
- People who are in legal custody or under a form of legal guardianship or protection
- People who are considered by the medical team to be socially or psychologically unsuitable for participation in a research study
