Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with typical or atypical forms of Parkinson's disease and who experience difficulties with walking or balance.
- People who have had a specific set of Medtronic brain stimulation devices implanted, including a Percept PC or Percept RC neurostimulator, bilateral leads (certain Medtronic Legacy or SenSight models), and compatible lead extensions or connector plug.

- People whose brain signal recordings show high interference or technical problems that prevent detection of movement-related signals.
- People who do not tolerate changes in the strength of their brain stimulation.
- People whose walking difficulties are caused by conditions other than Parkinson's disease.
- People who are unable to follow the study procedures on their own.
- People with a history of significant psychiatric illness or major cognitive impairment, as assessed by the study investigators and treating doctors.
- People who have major changes to their Parkinson's disease treatments planned during the study period.
- People with a history of drug or alcohol misuse in the past 5 years.
- People who are pregnant.
- People who have taken part in another research study in the 30 days before this trial or who are currently in another research study.
