Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 18 years of age or older.
- People who have been diagnosed with a specific type of flat, spreading growth in the colon or rectum called a Laterally Spreading Tumor - Granular Type (LST-G) that is at least 20mm in size and has been recommended for removal by endoscopy (a camera procedure).
- People who are expected to live for more than 10 years.
- People who are able to understand and sign a consent form, showing they understand the study and are willing to take part.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have been diagnosed with a different subtype of spreading growth called a Laterally Spreading Tumor - Non-Granular Type (LST-NG).
- People whose growth has any sunken or depressed areas within it.
- People whose growth is located on scar tissue or at a site where parts of the bowel were previously joined together surgically.
- People whose growth has been classified under certain high-risk surface patterns known as Kudo Vi or Vn (confirm with trial site).
- People who have a long-term inflammatory bowel condition, such as ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease.
- People who have been diagnosed with an inherited condition that causes many growths in the bowel, such as familial adenomatous polyposis or Lynch syndrome.
