Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 35 and 79 years old
- People who regularly attend a clinic for high blood pressure treatment and do not plan to travel during the study period
- People who have been diagnosed with high blood pressure, with a systolic (top number) blood pressure reading of 140 mmHg or higher at the screening appointment
- People who are currently taking either no blood pressure medications, or exactly two types of blood pressure medications from specific medication groups (confirm with trial site for details on which medication groups apply)

Who may not be able to join:
- People whose high blood pressure is thought to be caused by another medical condition, such as kidney disease, hormonal disorders, thyroid problems, or certain other underlying causes
- People with a systolic (top number) blood pressure of 180 mmHg or higher, or a diastolic (bottom number) blood pressure of 110 mmHg or higher at the screening visit
- People whose high blood pressure is suspected to only occur in a medical setting (sometimes called "white coat hypertension")
- People with a history of coronary heart disease
- People with a history of heart failure
- People who cannot tolerate two or more types of blood pressure medications from specific medication groups (confirm with trial site for details)
- People currently taking blood pressure medications outside of the specific groups allowed in this trial (confirm with trial site for details)
- People with diagnosed chronic kidney disease, significantly reduced kidney function, or who are currently on dialysis
- People with serious medical conditions such as cancer or liver problems
- People currently experiencing an acute illness, including a new heart or stroke event within the past 3 months
- People with difficulties with thinking, memory, or communication
- People who are currently pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant or breastfeed during the study
- People who are unwilling to take blood pressure medications or who have had difficulty following treatment plans in the past
- People who are already taking part in another clinical trial
