Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 18 and 75 years who have been diagnosed with chronic lumbar radiculopathy (long-term nerve pain originating in the lower back) based on medical history, physical examination, imaging scans, and nerve conduction tests
- People who are attending an outpatient clinic for physical therapy and have no medical reasons preventing them from receiving treatment
- People who have given their informed consent to participate
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have difficulty regulating body temperature or who have reduced ability to feel sensations
- People who have open wounds, sores, or other conditions that affect the skin's surface
- People who have a heart condition where the heart is no longer able to compensate and maintain adequate circulation
- People who have advanced failure of the heart, liver, or kidneys
- People who have severe, uncontrolled problems with blood flow in the veins of the limbs
- People who have a history of epilepsy or seizures
- People who are pregnant, have a cancer diagnosis, or have had a recent surgical operation
- People whose rheumatic disease is in an active flare-up phase
- People who have severe anemia (very low red blood cell levels)
- People who have tuberculosis
- People who have an infectious illness with fever
- People who have a condition associated with bleeding disorders
- People who have undergone regular balneotherapy (therapeutic bathing treatments) in the past three months
- People who have polyneuropathy or damage to the peripheral nerves
- People who have noticeable muscle weakness identified during physical examination
- People who have prosthetic implants (confirm with trial site regarding specific type)
- People who have previously had surgery on the lower back
