  • People who are malnourished or at risk of malnutrition, have been diagnosed with cancer or tumours affecting the pancreas, the area around it, or the duodenum (the first part of the small intestine), and have had a specific type of surgery called a cephalic pancreaticoduodenectomy (a major operation to remove part of the pancreas and surrounding tissue).

  • People who are already receiving other nutritional support, such as another oral nutritional supplement, tube feeding, or nutrition given through a drip into a vein.
  • People who are pregnant or who may become pregnant during the study.
  • People who have Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes where a specific blood sugar control measure (HbA1c) is above 8% (confirm with trial site).
  • People who have galactosaemia (inability to process a sugar called galactose), fructosaemia (inability to process fructose), or known allergies to any ingredient in the nutritional supplement being studied.
