Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been diagnosed with pancreatic adenocarcinoma (a type of pancreatic cancer) that has spread to other parts of the body or has grown into nearby tissues, confirmed by a tissue or cell sample.
• People who are currently receiving, or are about to start, their first round of chemotherapy for this cancer (either as a new diagnosis or after the cancer has come back), with the first chemotherapy dose within 45 days of starting the study drug.

• People who are well enough to carry out some daily activities — specifically, those with an ECOG performance status of 2 or below, meaning they may be limited in strenuous activity but are able to care for themselves (confirm with trial site if unsure).

• People with a diagnosed condition called disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), which is a serious blood clotting disorder.
• People who are currently taking blood-thinning (anticoagulant) medication.
• People who regularly take aspirin at doses above 100mg per day, clopidogrel (Plavix), cilostazol (Pletal), aspirin-dipyridamole (Aggrenox), or high-dose anti-inflammatory pain medications such as ibuprofen above 800mg per day — or similar medications taken within the past 10 days (confirm with trial site for full list).
• People with serious uncontrolled health conditions, such as an active infection, uncontrolled heart failure, unstable chest pain, irregular heart rhythms, or mental health or personal circumstances that would make it difficult to participate in the trial.
• People who are known to be intolerant or allergic to the study drug's active ingredient (isoquercetin), nicotinic acid, ascorbic acid, or who have a condition called G6PD deficiency.
• Women who are breastfeeding, who have a positive pregnancy test at screening, or who are unwilling to use acceptable contraception during the trial and for at least 4 weeks after it ends.
