Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 to 45 years at the time of screening
- People carrying a single baby (not twins or more) with no known physical abnormalities or suspected genetic conditions
- People whose pregnancy does not show signs of the baby growing too slowly (for the Normal Fetal Weight arm), or whose pregnancy has been diagnosed with the baby growing too slowly — meaning the baby's estimated weight or belly measurement is below the 10th percentile (for the Fetal Growth Restriction arm)
- People whose chromosome screening results (if done) showed a low risk for abnormalities
- People who have already had a standard anatomy ultrasound scan during their pregnancy
- People who plan to give birth at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital or Carilion New River Valley Medical Center
- People who are able to give informed consent to participate
Who may not be able to join:
- People carrying more than one baby (such as twins or triplets)
- People whose baby has a known physical abnormality that affects how the baby's size is measured on ultrasound
- People whose baby is suspected of having a genetic disorder
- People whose baby is suspected of having an infection
- People who do not speak English or Spanish
- People with unstable housing or transportation difficulties
- People whom the trial investigators determine to be unsuitable for the study for any other clinical reason (confirm with trial site)
