Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are scheduled for a full colonoscopy (an examination of the entire large intestine) as an outpatient procedure

Who may not be able to join:
- People under 18 years of age or over 80 years of age
- People whose colonoscopy has been given a short-priority urgent status, meaning the procedure must happen within 10 days
- People on a specific fast-track medical pathway (referred to as a GOM pathway) whose colonoscopy is scheduled within 10 days (confirm with trial site)
- People who are pregnant
- People who have a known medical reason why bowel preparation (the process of clearing the bowel before a colonoscopy) is not safe for them
- People who have a known medical reason why a full colonoscopy cannot safely be performed
- People who have had part of their large bowel surgically removed, or who have a colostomy or ileostomy (a surgically created opening in the abdomen for waste)
- People with cognitive impairments (difficulties with thinking, memory, or understanding)
- People who have been legally declared unable to make decisions for themselves
- People who are unable to provide informed consent to participate
