Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been diagnosed with Lynch Syndrome (LS) and have a confirmed harmful change (pathogenic variant) in one of these genes: MLH1, MSH2, MSH6, PMS2, or EPCAM.
• People aged 20 to 80 years old who have a harmful variant in the MLH1, MSH2, or EPCAM gene.
• People aged 30 to 80 years old who have a harmful variant in the PMS2 or MSH6 gene.
• People who have an upcoming routine bowel camera check (colonoscopy) already scheduled as part of their standard Lynch Syndrome monitoring care.
• People who have previously had bowel surgery but still have at least 20cm of their colon (large bowel) remaining.
• People who have been found to have advanced growths or early cancer in their bowel that have not yet been removed by surgery or a bowel camera procedure.
• People who are willing to sign a consent form, collect stool (poo) samples at home, and fill in surveys.

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have not had genetic testing and therefore do not have a confirmed Lynch Syndrome diagnosis, even if their family history or other factors suggest they may have it.
• People who have previously had most or all of their large bowel removed (subtotal or total colectomy).
• People newly diagnosed with Lynch Syndrome who are under 20 years old and have a harmful variant in MLH1, MSH2, EPCAM, MSH6, or PMS2.
• People newly diagnosed with Lynch Syndrome who are under 30 years old and have a harmful variant in MSH6 or PMS2.
• People who are currently pregnant.
• People who have inflammatory bowel disease (such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis) or a currently active cancer.
• People who are not willing or able to sign a consent form.
