- You have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease (the type with no known cause) by specialist movement disorder doctors at the Norman Fixel Institute of Neurological Diseases
- You have had a deep brain stimulation (DBS) device implanted for at least 6 months, with the settings already adjusted to work well for you
- You are between 18 and 80 years old
- You do not have dementia related to Parkinson's disease
- You are able to walk on your own without a walking aid (such as a cane or walker) or help from another person

- You have had any other brain or neurological surgery in the past (other than your DBS)
