- People who are having traumatic amputation of one or more fingers or toes treated at MGB (Massachusetts General Brigham)
- People who speak English
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are having a planned revision amputation or an amputation that is not the result of a traumatic injury
- People who are under 22 years old
- People who are pregnant and/or breastfeeding
- People who are unable or unwilling to take part in a research trial
- People who have a known allergy to polyethylene glycol (PEG), or to the dyes FD&C Yellow No. 5 (also called tartrazine) or FD&C Blue No. 1 (also called brilliant blue FCF)
