Who may not be able to join
Each point below is a reason the trial team may not be able to accept someone. It is not a list of requirements to meet.
- People who have an active infection or another health condition that could make it unsafe to collect tissue or blood samples.
- People who have previously had another type of cancer, which could make it harder to interpret the study results related to this lung cancer.
- People who are currently taking immune-suppressing medications (such as high-dose steroids) that could affect how the immune system is measured, unless those medications are being used as part of their lung cancer treatment.
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
