  • Group 5: People who have an abdominal infection condition, such as a perforated bowel causing peritonitis, non-perforated appendicitis, or gallbladder inflammation — all in a non-cancer context.

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who currently have an active cancer other than colorectal cancer.
  • People who have a progressive autoimmune disease (a condition where the immune system is actively attacking the body and worsening over time).
