Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People who have a primary diagnosis of breast, gynaecological, or colon cancer that has not spread to distant parts of the body
- People who have not yet received chemotherapy
- People who have been scheduled to receive at least 12 weeks of a taxane- or platinum-based chemotherapy treatment, without any other chemotherapy that can affect the nerves
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose oncologist estimates their life expectancy to be less than six months
- People whose cancer is at an advanced stage
- People who currently have a known condition affecting their nerves (neuropathy)
- People whose oncologist determines that physical or cognitive limitations make it unsafe for them to take part in a low- to moderate-intensity home-based walking and resistance exercise program
- People who are not able to read and understand Dutch
- People who are not able to give informed consent to participate
- People who are not able to take part for the full duration of the study
- People who are pregnant
