Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People between 35 and 50 years of age
  • People of any sex
  • People who have had pain, numbness, or other symptoms from a pinched or irritated nerve on one side of the lower back for more than 6 months
  • People with a body weight considered in the normal healthy range (a body mass index between 18.5 and 24.99 kg/m²)

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have other conditions affecting the muscles, bones, or joints of the spine or upper body
  • People who have other nerve-related conditions, mental health conditions, spinal cord problems, memory or thinking difficulties, broken bones in the spine, or a history of surgery on the spine or lower back
  • People who have an unstable spine or a recent injury
  • People who have structural spine problems, bone-thinning disease (osteoporosis), or a condition causing involuntary muscle spasms in the neck
  • People who have inflammatory spine conditions such as ankylosing spondylitis or rheumatoid arthritis
