Who may be able to join
- Adults between 18 and 75 years of age.
- People who have been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer confirmed by a tissue sample (biopsy); combined/mixed types of small cell lung cancer are not allowed.
- People whose cancer has continued to grow or spread after receiving first-line chemotherapy combined with immunotherapy (including PD-1 or PD-L1 inhibitor treatments).

Who may not be able to join

- People with serious heart or lung disease, including those with heart disease rated at Grade II or above on the New York Heart Association (NYHA) scale.
- People with a severe active infection or other serious illness affecting the whole body.
- People known to have an allergy or intolerance to chemotherapy drugs or their ingredients.
- People who have had another cancer diagnosis in the past 5 years, except for certain cured cancers such as cervical carcinoma in situ or non-melanoma skin cancer.
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or people of childbearing age who are not willing to use appropriate contraception during the study.
- People who have taken part in another clinical drug study within 21 days before the first dose of the study drug.
- People with active autoimmune diseases or active inflammatory conditions.
- People who experienced severe (Grade 3 or 4) immune-related side effects during previous immunotherapy treatment.
- People with brain metastases or cancer spread to the membranes around the brain that are causing symptoms.
- People who are currently taking long-term oral corticosteroids (such as prednisone at more than 10mg per day or an equivalent dose) or any form of immunosuppressive therapy before the first dose; note that people who need inhalers, topical steroids, or local steroid injections may still be considered.
- People with a large build-up of fluid in body cavities, or fluid that is causing symptoms, or fluid that has been difficult to control (defined as needing drainage two or more times within one month).
- People whom the study doctor judges to be unsuitable for participation for any other reason.
