Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are between 55 and 80 years old
  • You are already scheduled to have a bowel cancer screening test (called a FIT test) or a follow-up colonoscopy
  • During your colonoscopy, the doctor finds one or more polyps (small growths in the bowel) that are no larger than 25 mm

Who may not be able to join:

  • The bowel was not cleaned well enough before the colonoscopy to get a clear view
  • A complication occurs during the procedure that is not related to the study device
  • You have been diagnosed with, or are suspected to have, inflammatory bowel disease (a long-term condition causing inflammation in the digestive tract, such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis)
  • You have a condition where many polyps grow throughout the bowel (such as serrated polyposis or familial adenomatous polyposis)
  • You have had a specific type of bowel surgery that reconnects the small intestine to the anus (confirm with trial site)
  • You have previously had radiation therapy or chemotherapy to treat growths in the bowel
  • You are scheduled for a treatment procedure during the colonoscopy, such as to stop bowel bleeding or to remove larger polyps using specialist techniques
  • You are pregnant
  • You are unable to give your formal written agreement to take part in the trial
