Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 55 and 80 years old
- You are already scheduled to have a bowel cancer screening test (called a FIT test) or a follow-up colonoscopy
- During your colonoscopy, the doctor finds one or more polyps (small growths in the bowel) that are no larger than 25 mm
Who may not be able to join:
- No polyps are found during the procedure, or only very small (5 mm or less) non-concerning polyps are found in the lower part of the bowel
- The bowel was not cleaned well enough before the colonoscopy to get a clear view
- A complication occurs during the procedure that is not related to the study device
- You have been diagnosed with, or are suspected to have, inflammatory bowel disease (a long-term condition causing inflammation in the digestive tract, such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis)
- You have a condition where many polyps grow throughout the bowel (such as serrated polyposis or familial adenomatous polyposis)
- You have had a specific type of bowel surgery that reconnects the small intestine to the anus (confirm with trial site)
- You have previously had radiation therapy or chemotherapy to treat growths in the bowel
- You are scheduled for a treatment procedure during the colonoscopy, such as to stop bowel bleeding or to remove larger polyps using specialist techniques
- You are pregnant
- You are unable to give your formal written agreement to take part in the trial
