Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are willing and able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the study.
  • You are a man or woman between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer (confirmed by a tissue or cell sample) that has stopped responding to, or could not be tolerated with, standard treatments.
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans and is large enough (over 1.5 cm) to be injected directly or through a special imaging-guided procedure called endoscopic ultrasound.
  • You are generally well enough to carry out light activity and care for yourself (a doctor will assess this using a standard scale).
  • Your blood counts, liver, kidney, and clotting function are within acceptable ranges based on recent blood tests (the trial team will check these for you).
  • If you are a woman who could become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy test before joining, and both you and your male partner (if applicable) must agree to use reliable contraception during the study and for 3 months after the last dose; male participants must also agree not to donate sperm during this time.

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have received certain cancer treatments recently, such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or targeted therapy within the past 2 to 6 weeks (depending on the type), traditional Chinese herbal medicine used as a cancer treatment within 2 weeks, radiotherapy within 2 weeks, or have previously received oncolytic virus treatment.
  • You still have significant side effects from previous cancer treatments that have not fully resolved.
  • You have cancer that has spread to your brain or the lining around your brain and is not under control.
  • You have a known or suspected active autoimmune disease, such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, inflammatory bowel disease, or similar conditions.
  • You have had a serious heart or stroke event in the past 12 months, have certain abnormal heart rhythms, have significant heart failure, or have blood pressure that cannot be controlled with treatment.
  • You have an active, uncontrolled infection that requires treatment with antibiotics, antifungals, or antiviral medicines (including active tuberculosis or blood infections).
  • You have HIV, active syphilis, active hepatitis C, or active hepatitis B with a high level of virus in your blood.
  • You have used immune-boosting or immune-modifying medicines (such as interferon or interleukin) within the past 2 weeks.
  • You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
